Varje Kattegat Farming vodka härstammar från en specifik nypotatis sort. Och precis som region, väder, druva och tillvägagångssätt påverkar karaktären på ett fint vin, donerar våra nypotatisar ut sin signatur arom, eller hjärta, genom vår master blender Solveig Sommarströms finkänsliga pot still och rektifieringsprocess. Resultatet är den unika, aromatiskt signifikanta smaken av KAttegat Farmings vintage vodka.
Vår vintage vodka är tillverkad av de finaste av handplockade nypotatisar. Cultivated och skördade från vårt eget fält på Bjärehalvön i sydväst Sverige. Det behövs 10 kg nypotatis för att producera 500ml potatis vodka. Att jämföra med en liter vete vodka som enbart behöver ett kilo säd.

ESTELLE
Ursprung Tyskland
Estelle is the German born queen of new potatoes. Her original name is Pini, but when introduced to the Swedish court in 2014 she was renamed after princess Victoria's firstborn daugther Estelle.
Her extraordinary qualities include perfect small round shaped potatoes. Excellent resistent to weather conditions and delivers at least 3 to 4 harvests each season between early June and late August.
She delivers a firm textured potato, with a buttery mild taste,
Loved and cherished by renowned restaurants all over Sweden.

Cultivated and harvested in August 2021, Estelle is our youngest vintage.
The variety's sophisticated taste stands out in any bar. Estelle is widely appreciated for its smooth and urban sensibilities.

Cultivated and harvested in 2006, Gammelsvensk Röd is the oldest vintage in our collection. Aging has enriched the GSR's complex character with a pleasant roughness and depth. The hint of petroleum and burnt rubber earns the vintage a well-deserved place in any bar and easily rounds off any evening.
